Pests can spread disease, damage crops, injure livestock and even cause damage to buildings, structures and electricals. At the first sign of pests on your property, it’s important to take action.
We stock a wide range of pest control traps including catch and release, catch and kill, and humane kill traps. You may wish to use a variety of methods to help keep pest populations under control and to prevent them causing problems.
Reusable pest control traps offer a cost-effective way to manage pest problems on your property. Our professional grade cage traps are constructed from durable materials that will withstand all weather conditions and allow you to keep using them time and time again.
Are traps better than poison?
We believe that traps are better than poison because they are safer. When you put down poison, there is a risk to livestock, non-target species, domestic animals and even humans. There is also the risk the pest could die in a hard to reach area. This could lead to further pest infestations (flies) and a bad smell that is difficult to get rid of.
Are traps legal in the UK?
This all depends on what you are trying to catch and what you do with the animal once caught. The majority are legal provided they are used responsibly and do not cause the animal any undue suffering. With catch and release and catch and kill traps, you should check them regularly and deal with the animal promptly to minimise suffering.
